The Germans have the upper hand. Heavy pressure on the south flank has the US breaking off and the M16 under recall - though it at least should rally and has a heroic gunner. This is in fact a much more dangerous attack than the Germans could muster at this point in the actual battle. Two slightly battered companies of VG plus mortars and infantry guns is quite powerful.
