Ouch! CANNED MEAT meets its end on the way to AMIENS. Note the FW190 performing a victory roll above its victim. A destroyed wing root is a pretty lucky hit even for an FW190 with its fearsome 4 x 20mm armament. 6 chutes all captured - 4 KIA. The other chute in the bottom right is that of a Spitfire pilot. Rather a good moment for the Luftwaffe - although the preceding waves were both shot to pieces by the Spitfire escorts.
